He completed a General Practice Residency at Irwin Army Hospital in Fort Riley, Kansas, and earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery at Georgetown University as well as a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Norwich University. Dr. Sanford is certified to practice a wide array of dental procedures, and maintains an exceptional degree of professionalism. Among many other honors, Dr. Sanford is a winner of Georgetown University’s American Academy of Oral Pathology Award, Norwich University’s Burke Memorial Award, and an Army Commendation Medal from the 766th Medical Department, Baumholder, Germany.

Dr. Sanford is now offering NIGHTLASE™, SMOOTHLASE™, LIPLASE℠ and PIPS™ Laser treatments, in addition to his current Laser restorative (fillings), periodontics (gum and bone surgery) and endodontic (root canal) laser-assisted therapy. Dr. Sanford had the opportunity to train with Dr. Harvey Schiffman and Dr. Mark Colonna whose protocols and clinical therapy initiated the following treatments.


NIGHTLASE™:

  • A non-ablative procedure with the Fotona Lightwalker™ Er:YAG Laser to tighten and elevate the uvula, soft palate and surrounding tissues to reduce SNORING.
  • It is also an alternative or additional treatment for patients with Obstructive Sleep Apnea who cannot tolerate a CPAP or Oral Appliance.
  • No Anesthesia-Needles required and No Pre-Op or Post-Op Pain.

SMOOTHLASE™:

  • Intra-oral Laser Facial Rejuvenation using Fractionalized Er:YAG laser energy from the Fotona Lightwalker™ Laser, which allows for new collagen to form in the treated areas of the FACE.
  • This procedure treats existing and prevents new FACIAL WRINKLES formation with the addition of new collagen rather than injecting toxic or foreign materials.

LIPLASE℠:

  • A Fractionalized Er:YAG Laser treatment with the Fotona Lightwalker™ Laser to Rejuvenate, Define, Plump and Increase Volume of the Lips.

PIPS™:
